Comfort Measures Class
"Two heads are better than one," so we have teamed up with Carolyn Massengale, CD (DONA) to offer four hour intensive childbirth education classes. This classes is designed to give you the basics, from stages of labor all the way through breastfeeding and what to expect postpartum. The main focus, however, is on what doula's do best: the real "how-to's" of labor! Our goal is to give you the tools such as comfort measures, labor positions, relaxation techniques, etc. that will help you and your partner labor more comfortably and confidently.
Contact me with any questions and to sign-up. Classes will be offered in various locations in the Tri-County area. Minimum of two couples to sign up for a class to be held. There are limited spots available in each class based on the location's space. These are four hour classes that are not designed to replace your own research or a more in-depth class, but rather aid those things.
